History and Welsh History, BA Hons FullTime

I'm loving my course. The lecturers are very helpful and are all experts in their fields. One of my favourite things about how the course is run here, is the essay feedback sessions. The lecturers will sit with you and go through your work with you if you want. This is invaluable! The course is also split into lectures and small group teaching which is great for discussion and debate, and is a good way of ensuring everyone understands the course. In terms of contact time with the lecturers, I've always been impressed. read more

The History department at Aber is pretty strong and so this reflects well in the course. The department is quite effective at maintaining decent academic standards and there's no really terrible modules. It's also very good at supporting students, everything feels remarkably friendly and accessible. read more
