ARU is hands down...
ARU is hands down the worst uni to study at unless you are a medical student. The level of discrimination against student that are not studying medicine is shocking. It’s strange to me because they don’t even have any graduate doctors yet! Their medical students are the Uni golden students. ARU medical students have been given access to renovated accommodation spaces and are also assigned to live in a block together (this allows the medical students to have an advantage, as they are able to live and socialise with the people on their medical course) other students are scattered all over the accommodation campus and accommodation campus and their rooms are not updated. My bedroom was dirty when I moved in and the carpet was blue with mould. The medical students have modern wooden floors. ARU also neglect the mental health of other students. Young nursing students are Expected to travel to Southend for placements with no support! The worst part is that ARU has given medical student acc read more

the accommodation is incredibly expensive for how basic it is, and this may reflect living in Chelmsford which is also expensive. There are lots of restaurants and clubs in the town which is a 10 minute walk away from the university. Public transport is pretty good, with the park and ride which comes into the university read more
